I received that same personalized video from the ColorOfChange.org PAC, followed later in the day by an apology to those who were offended. Now, maybe there were a few folks who were offended by the clip of the older woman using bleeped obscenities to describe the person who didn't vote, but I got the impression from the email that a lot of people were offended bacuse they really didn't get that the video is personalized, and thought this PAC was sending out a video which made fun of them by name to everyone in the country. Heads up, people! Your vote matters, but not so much that a nationwide campaign would focus on shaming you, and you alone, into casting your ballot on Election Day.
This apology was a good reminder to me that, win or lose next week, the country will still be filled with a significant number of morons on both sides. We're #1? Yeah, maybe we're first in the percentage of idiots per capita, too.

It means you have a cool mom, I guess.
